Owners Anita and Mario Ortiz both possess a passion for cooking! You will see them often in the restaurant and on the truck (Mario's Cart). Established in 2013, Mario's Restaurant and food truck business served the Village of Northbrook, IL and surrounding areas for many happy years.
In 2021 they decided to relocate, restaurant and family, to the community of Crystal Lake, Illinois.

Over the years we have expanded our menu to have delicious and healthy options for all eaters!
In addition to the traditional menu, we offer vegetarian and vegan options.
Our kitchen is also Nut-Free and Mostly-Gluten-Free.
We also cater parties and events, and offer a variety of options for every occasion.
We can customize a menu to fit any needs.
